Ryan Hillam, DDS

Dr. Hillam was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  His father was a dentist and encouraged him to explore the field of dentistry.  After completing his undergraduate studies, he was accepted in 1996 to Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska where he received his dental degree. During dental school, he met his wife and currently has three girls and two boys. He continued his dental education by completing a one-year general dental practice residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He went on to practice general dentistry in the town of Champaign, Illinois. He thoroughly enjoyed general dentistry and the patients he treated. He went on to accomplish a four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in the state of New Jersey at Seton Hall University.  An interesting fact about Dr. Hillam, he has lived in 4 different countries. He enjoys traveling and meeting people from other cultures.  Dr. Hillam has a full-time practice in Fruitland Idaho and a satellite office in Baker City, Oregon.

As an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, he has been trained to treat and care for patients who experience such conditions as problems with wisdom teeth, facial pain, and misaligned jaws. He has received special skills in treating accident victims suffering facial injuries, offers reconstructive and dental implant surgery, and care for patients with tumors and cysts of the jaws and functional and esthetic conditions of the hard and soft tissues of the head, mouth, teeth, and gums. His training has given him specialized knowledge in pain control and advanced training in anesthesia to provide quality care with maximum patient comfort and safety in the office setting.
